Maria Callas: Book me a table at a café where the waiters know who I am
Chronology
Maria Callas, the world’s greatest opera singer, spends her final days in 1970s Paris as she confronts her identity and her life. Angelina Jolie and director Pablo Larraín discuss how they connected with the heartbreaking real-life story of world-renowned opera singer Maria Callas. The third and final film in Pablo Larraín’s trilogy of female-led biographical films, “The Lady in Heels,” follows Jackie (2016) and Spencer (2021).

Opera singers learn to control their breath in order to captivate us
I’m sure this film was made with great care and love, BUT what it lacked most in my opinion was Breathing. And I agree with other less favorable reviews that the opening scene was definitely a bad example of lip-syncing, especially since I didn’t see Ms. Jolie breathe!
I also had high hopes for these two iconic ladies
Of course, La Callas lived a glamorous life, but it seemed to me that the focus was more on the visuals of this film. This is a film that made me stop watching it all the way through and for that I apologize. "One Hundred Years of Solitude" is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
