The adventure of two foxes preparing to become parents for the first time in a time when global warming is changing the rules for everyone. In Spain, the film was narrated by Jacob Petrus, a zoologist, naturalist and environmentalist known in the country as the creator, director and host of the TV show Aquí la tierra (2014). There aren’t many big-screen adaptations of animal documentaries. Judging by this film, that might be a mistake. An exciting and captivating story of two arctic foxes and wide, high-quality shots of arctic nature captivated me throughout the film. I was amazed at how many twists and turns this film managed to offer, even though it was just a series of events in the foxes’ lives. Despite not being human, these actors showed wit and evoked empathy quite successfully. I laughed at the cute squeals of the foxes, was afraid of the dull thuds and loud barks of the dogs and was happy for them when they were reunited after many adventures and the almost imminent death of the male. Overall, a cute little film that children might enjoy, although unlike me, those in the cinema with me were not as enthralled. Thanks to the French production team, greetings from Ukraine.
